I have too many of these pet characters, most of them come from the DCU though. Booster Gold would possibly be the biggest, there is just something about him that I really like.  Stargirl comes to mind too. I know that she's everywhere in the DCU right now but as soon as Johns is gone, I'm sure she will disapear.

@miyamoto It's just a matter of time. Mavel was pimping him at SDCC last year and from reading his Marvel stuff, he fits in quite well. I was quite impressed with his New Universal 1959 and I'm loving his Thor.

Okay, this is weird I'm listening to She & Him right now, I just dropped by to check out the summary and look at the comments (won't listen to the show until I get my comics in and read).

I'm loving this New Krypton arc and the World without Superman. It has the same feeling that 52 did, the second tier Metropolus heroes stepping up to fill the big guys shoes. The sad thing is that these character are (for the most part) most interesting when they're put into a situation where Supes isn't there.
