Amy Reeder Hadley (Madame Xanadu) is probably the only (current) artist I can think of that really puts a great care on clothing and interior designs. In a recent interview she pretty much made Sonia's observations and said that she is much more interested in clothing design than action in her comic art. Sonia, you should definitely check Madame Xanadu out if you haven't done that yet.

I absolutely love Amy Reeder Hadley's art.  Her panels are imbued with a feminine sensibility that is uncommon to see in male-dominated comic book art.  Her details on period clothes are meticulous and beautiful.

@ PraxJarvin You should be happy, you should sell your Marvel shares now! You made a lot of money in one day. I wouldn't certainly wait to get Disney  shares in exchange if you don't believe in Disney as generator of increasing future cash flows (unless it is a cash acquisition, then you don't get Disney stocks anyway).

What I love too is that Batman actually looks overweight...

This is not the "big event" of 2010.  It is just one of many Marvel projects for next year.  Otherwise Quesada would have never announced it the way he did last month.

Personally I really liked it, except the acting of the actress playing agent Brand, she was really awful. Also, I don't agree with the critic that it played too fast to be the analogous of a 22-page comic.  If you put this episode on paper, the story would probably be contained in 12-14 pages, not 22.  It is not fast, it is just short (and because of that, it makes perfect sens...

I hope they put sunscreen lotion on the poor kid...

I agree that what the guy with the hat did was disrespectful and inappropriate. However, I also found disrespectul to the fans to charge $300(!!!) for a full figure sketch ($400 if Deadpool) as Liefeld did in Chicago...

Exciting news, even though I'm still waiting for a Scalped HBO show...
