i love this series but am not a fan of the art. in fact i missed last issue because of it. i'm going to go back and pick it up though as well as this one. don't get me wrong, the guy is a good artist, its just not doin it for me. its a  personal taste thing.

iFanboy - Episode #97 - Mike Allred

On Nov 19, 2008 3:09 PM

mike allred is the man. i'm not going to pretend that i've always been a fan, but i've become one of his with this new madman series. and as far as him talking about what he believes, good for him. (although Ron looked a little unsettled. that was pretty funny to watch) it takes way more balls to express yourself and tell people about this thing that you think about and believe that to sit idll...

05.25.08 - 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'

On May 22, 2008 12:44 AM

i loved the movie. not my favorite jones movie but i loved it still. my only quarle is, in the past the only 'special' effects were the supernatual elements, everything eles was practical effects and real stunt work. this, at times, crossed over into 'the mummy' territory. but still, loved the movie. harrison has still got it.

Who else is dropping IMMORTAL IRON FIST? Brubaker & Fraction

On Apr 7, 2008 2:40 PM

the loss of Fraction i can deal with. never cared for him. but Brubaker and Aja. ouch. that hurts. but i will stay with it becouse i like me the Kung-fu action. @ ohcaroline, there is no room for levelheaded objectivity in comics. only rushing to rash, baseless, judgement. (nice B-Ball allegory. way to drop some of the B-ball Ka-nowledge.)

Conor's Mini Indie Round-Up!

On Mar 26, 2008 12:07 AM

i'm one of those parent's that look for stuff to read with thier kid's. i found Clockwork Girl when it first came out , saw the price, and bought it, sight unseen. it's a great little book with the three main ingredients for a good book, story-4 (out of 5), art-4 and price-5. more child aimed books should take notice.
