I saw the midnight show last night.  The movie is ok.  There was more desired of the plot, but I wasn't really dissappointed.  I knew going in that they were going to take a departure from the books so I expected that.  I agree, the Deadpool thing at the end should have been something else besides making it Deadpool.  He can fight some other bad guy.  I feel that ...

Star Trek looks promising and don't forget about Terminator this summer as well. Jury is out on GI Joe and Transformers 2, the teasers didn't really show much yet. I liked both of these.  Each were pretty good with each having something different to offer instead of two movies of the same things.  Deadpool steals everyscene he was in.  I agree, the only way to tell the Wolverine story was with no filter and I'm glad they went that way with it.  I'm sure Thor: Tales of Asgard will be good, but I'd like to see some more team up kind o...

I totally get what it feels like to look at a stackof books and just sigh, or look at the accumulation of shows i've DVR'd and think, When the heck am I gonna watch all these?  But the old stand by's are good and there is no other place I would go for a mental break.  You probobly won't forget the night of vomit for as long as you live either.

Kinda surprised we didn't see more JSA in the top spot last year (granted they got it this week.)  Here's to a great 2009!

Only 4 books this week Marvel Zombies, Spider-man, Secret Invasion: War of Kings, and Det. Comics.  Last thing that surprised me:  Zombie attack while playing Left 4 Dead.  Creepy game.

This one was pretty good.  I hope the team roster stays like this for a while. It did kinda bother me that Iron Fist said he was dropping the team, then right that second Luke Cage says his baby is missing, the team goes out to find the baby, without Iron Fist.  Iron Fist is going to tell his best buddy, "Sorry you kid is missing, but I gotta go"? 

I JUST made a huge cut to my pull list.  If things escalate to 3.99 as the regular price, its back to the chopping block and I won't be happy about it.

I suppose I've been trying to think of the Secret Invasion title by itself, in which there are no flashbacks or reaveals of what has been leading up to the invasion.  I try to imagine the headache one would feel if they tried to read strait issues of just New Avengers.  Would anyone have any idea what's going on?  No way.  Its great to support the big mini series of the sum...
