I suppose I've been trying to think of the Secret Invasion title by itself, in which there are no flashbacks or reaveals of what has been leading up to the invasion.  I try to imagine the headache one would feel if they tried to read strait issues of just New Avengers.  Would anyone have any idea what's going on?  No way.  Its great to support the big mini series of the sum...

I'm looking forward to Secret Invasion #4, Nova, and Ultimate Origins #2.  Somehow I feel like if Ultimate Origins does well, it may magically make Ulimates 3 a little more bearable.  Once I find logic in that I'll let you know. I am so on board for Hellboy this week, oh yeah.

I love... the idea of this article and so I have to add to it I love... putting off bagging and boarding my comics untill about a month's worth gathers up and then organizing it all at once I love... reading about superheroes.  I feel better about my day when I check in with the guys who fight the good fight (and sometimes when they dont) I love... the X-men.  They are what brough...

I have to admit that for the longest time I was not really a fan of Superman for the very reason you point out.  What could you possibly do to him?  Very good arguement placed to make Superman a character that's interesting.  He's forced to pick and choose everyday who he saves and who he doesn't.  I think there is something to say for the everyday hero like Peter Parker wh...

I'm a big time Sentry fan.  And for a while I thougt I was one of a small handfull of fans in a sea of hard core Sentry haters; as time has progressed, I'm pleased to see there are more fans than I originally thought. It doesn't bother me at all that the Sentry was supposed to be a big staple hero in the Golden age and then forgotten.  Its a new origin for a basically "new"...

Nice review.  I was worried that the end of the story would dissapoint.  I agree with being glad that I was here to read this as it was coming out.  This is easily one of my favorite X-men stories ever and I'll be giving this to others to read for some time.

At the risk of sounding like everyone else who posted:  I toatally get this one. I just switched jobs rescentaly and the transition has forced me to take about 3 weeks off from my regular comic book patronage.  Where it is nice to take a breather now and again, I found myself missing my books.  Good news is that I'll be able to hit them up this week and see my old friends again...
