Prose Vs. Comics

On Nov 18, 2009 11:29 AM

My eyes just glazed over upon trying to read all of this text. Maybe that's why I like comics more than prose.

Marvel Goes Digital And Mobile

On Oct 30, 2009 4:15 PM

Glad to see Marvel enter the arena. Even though I think $1.99 is still too high for older material. But seeing those huge runs now available made me think of something for the first time - Are these apps somewhat doomed for long-term digital comic purchases? I have the Comixology one and from what I can tell, the comics are just tied to the app. At some point, I'll be forced to delete stuff ...

Astonishing X-Men Motion Comic - Episode 1 Trailer

On Sep 30, 2009 12:01 PM

I would hate for different publishers/series to be released in different places or even worse, across different applications. Having everything be released through one channel (Longbox/iTunes/whatever) would just be so much easier for the consumer, although I realize that might not be in...

Digital Comics Next Step: Longbox

On Jun 22, 2009 10:43 AM

The screen shots look super sharp and awesome (or is that just b/c they used Phonogram as the example?). The potential for discounted trades related to singles you bought is really exciting to me most of all as the double dipping is a huge barrier for entry to me.
