Name: Phillip Scott

Bio: I grew up on Superman comics, but fell out of touch when I got interested in girls. Now I'm back into comics and not girls (well one) and have expanded my interests into Marvel, particularly the New Avengers, Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man, as well as a few DC books, including Batman and Green Lantern. Favorites all-time include Watchmen, Batman: Year One, and Daredevil: Born Again. (Shocking.)

Rick Remender is taking Captain America in a bold new direction, and I like it. A throwback to the zany…

This last arc from Bendis has been more like those early New Avengers comics that got me so excited about…

April 5, 2012 9:08 am Absolutely. Love AvX: Infinite and the way it took advantage of the format. Let's see more of that!
October 27, 2011 8:48 am Glad I didn't get this or issue 3. I sort of forgot about it ... now I won't have to go back and get them.
October 27, 2011 8:46 am I agree with the review. I thought it was pretty hysterical to see Wolverine and Kitty try so hard to please the inspectors. I also appreciated the weird positions Logan's tie kept finding itself - funny touches in the art complimented the humor of the story so well.

October 4, 2011 2:06 pm I saw the title and thought, "Yes! There should be new comics every day!" The only time I get shy about reading comics in public is when there is mature content and there are kids around. As happened yesterday, when I was reading Criminal on my iPad. I have to say: I saw several people reading Watchmen collections on the subway around the time of the movie; since then I haven't seen much. I'm sure there's a connection or lesson there.
September 29, 2011 10:18 am That New York ComicCon is ... loud.
August 18, 2011 9:12 am If this was the conception of Damian, I guess we know Batman's utility belt isn't prepared for everything.
August 17, 2011 11:03 am One of my earliest memories is falling asleep on my Mom's lap watching Superman: The Movie on television. A few years later, when I could work the VCR and owned the tape (or was it recorded from HBO?) we'd watch it, but Mom didn't let us watch the Krypton part because she was afraid the planet exploding (spoilers!) would be too scary. I finally watched it in my teens. So I'm all caught up now.
July 20, 2011 10:44 am The 1990 movie is on iTunes. You're welcome.
