The Will vs. The Fear

On Nov 3, 2009 8:48 AM

I've heard something similar to The Will vs The Fear described to as Pull/Push IE: I have the Pull to start a podcast about digital comics, but not the push.  Some nebulous desire of "Oh that'd be nice/fun" but I don't actually have the Will/Push to enact it.  I think framing the lack of sufficient Push as "The Fear" is more productive though, it gives you some...

Stores that only act as a place to buy stuff and leave might not survive the conversion.  A good shop is a meeting place, can have signings, can have events, can help give you recommendations.  They won't necessarily be able to compete on price anymore but they can compete on service and style. More options are ALWAYS a good thing, we've lost all sorts of professions in the last tho...

Future Comics - Post Print Ponderings

@Camden: SOME comics are definitely worth $4.00. I won't miss buying floppies once things like Longbox come out, I already have been buying a bunch of stuff on Comixology (or iVerse, support them and support iFanboy) as well.  I think I'm going to try and stick to trades only as far as physical comics once Longbox is out.  Even if that means cutting way back on DC/Marvel.

Cameron Stewart is the next artist on 'Batman and Robin'

I asked Cameron about it on Twitter and apparently Irving is going to follow him, so we'll still get Frazer Irving art on the book. I really wish I'd got a sketch from him at Fanexpo I didn't have quite the time and I was gambling on him being at Montreal Comic Con which is now looking a little iffy :(
