Aside from Superman #690, the Super titles including Supergirl have been incredible.  I NEVER liked superman.  When I heard he was NOT going to be in his own books, I picked it up along with New Krypton which he was in.  Now, I am a Superman, Supergirl, Nightwing & Flamebird fan!

I consider this movie this decades Starship Troopers.  I knew Starship Troopers was cheezey, the acting subpar, the story, ok, but as a whole the movie was great.  That is how I feel about GI Joe.  It's just fun.  I really felt like a kid again watching it.  Would I watch it again in the theater? I have loved this series from issue one. The art is fantastic. I want an animated version, live action, or both. It's just that good. I can see the asian guy from the mentalist playing Chu and the show filmed like Pushing Daisies.

Josh's pick of Scalped and now Ron's have reminded me that POTW is about what you the reader enjoyed the best, not what you think the community would deem the 'best' book of the week.  Mine was Ultimatum Spider-Man: Requim.  I knew the ifanbase was going to go with Detective but I went with what I liked.

I thought the main story was good, and the back up stories even better.  Definitely PotW material.  Stories about family always get me.  I definitely enjoyed this 600 issue more then any of the others.

No we are not @Josh. You should have picked BN #1. Because of you I am forced to read the trades of Scalped (read the first two, execellent) and get caught up in issues just to prove your pick was wrong :). I am looking forward to getting caught up on scalped.

I was extremely happy with my pull list this week.  Weds. Comics was the dark horse pull.  Man am I glad I picked it up.  I loved how I could pick and choose what to read.  Its a comic you can sit with and read multiple times and get something new out of it.

I started to go through my stack, 12 total this week.  Batman & Robin happen to be #4 and after reading it, called it a day.  Both story and art was really strong.  A Robin who does NOT respect Batman!?!  A Batman who does not want to where the cowl!?! Is unsure he can play the role!?!  Epic.  I am torn, Bruce Wayne is the definition of bad-ass, but dare I say...

I can believe she drew that and yes good looking people can like comics too.
