09.13.2009 - Episode #201 - Kick-Ass #7

On Sep 13, 2009 6:17 PM

Hey Guys, Great episode! And since it's been mentioned a couple of times on the show, Francis Manapul and Brian Buccelato both worked on Witchblade (53-75) and Necromancer for Top Cow and Iron & The Maiden for Aspen before going over to DC Comics. Both guys are hella talented.  Take care,  Filip Sablik Publisher Top Cow Productions, Inc. Read The Darkness/Pitt #1 for free ...

The Long Farewell - Giving Away Comics

On Aug 26, 2009 9:00 AM

Working at Diamond was the thing that broke me of my collector mentality. When you have more comics to read than you can keep up with and it costs you nothing or very little, they slowly lose any value other than the moment of entertainment they provide you. That and moving every year or so and having to lug short boxes from apartment to apartment. I now own only two boxes of actual comics -...

Digital Comics Next Step: Longbox

On Jun 22, 2009 10:43 AM

It's awesome to see how much conversation the Longbox announcement has stirred up! Nice article, Ron and a great conversation starter. I just wanted to drop by and add that we're pretty damn excited to part of the launch of Longbox and having sat through Rantz's pitch and demonstration I can say it's very impressive. Rantz and his team have really thought through not only how things work tec...

Comic Book Coloring: Then and Now

On May 26, 2009 9:00 AM

A great colorist can really elevate the work of a penciler and/or inker. They also often have the unenviable task of helping a book get to press on time as one of the last steps in the chain. Guys like Dave McCaig, Sunny Gho, Arif Prianto, and lots of others make my job a real pleasure! Take care, Filip Sablik Publisher, Top Cow Productions Read Berserker #0 for free on www.topcow.com

Dollhouse - S01E11 - Briar Rose

On May 1, 2009 8:00 PM

I thought the last few episodes have been really entertaining. I have to admit I didn't see the ending with Alpha coming until right before it happened. Very satisfying! Although based on the preview for the next week, I'm beginning to think "evil" equals "southern accent" in Joss Whedon's mind:D   Filip Sablik Publisher, Top Cow Productions  Read Berserker #...
