Madman has always been a favorite of mine. I pick up the new issues whenever I find them on my shops shelves, they don't order to many of this title obviously. I'm a long time fan of Mike Allred and of Madman especially. I'm glad iFanboy brought this issue to light, hopefully more people will come to appreciate this creator and title.

It's just terribly sad when a man, who brought so much entertainment and happiness with his art, dies so young. Whether you were a fan of his artistic style or not, there isn't any denying he was a person of great talent and a good heart. Definitely someone worthy of respect in life and now in death. My heart goes out to all his family and friends. I really wish I had a chance to meet him.

I'll probably wait for this to come out on DVD and I'll just add it to the Netflix queue, not motivated to shell out to see this at the theatre.

This was a strong week for books. I gotta agree with this pick. It was a nice surprise for me. I had no expectations going in and it blew me away. Loved the art, loved the characters, and the writing. I read Batman as well, it was a close second for me.

Dr. Manhattan is the one I'm most curious on how they're going to pull off. Aside from Ozy I don't have any problems with these costumes or the actor choices. I can't want until the first trailer.

My current comic shop doesn't carry CSN, that little rag is stale before the ink hits the paper. The time for a comic book weekly newspaper has passed. Unless they can offer something like creator interviews and exclusive editorials in addition to a more professional execution of the product, I don't see it having any value to comic shop owners or buyers.
