On Nov 6, 2009 4:00 PMFor those interested in the Akira manga, it's actually quite different from the movie. *Movie Spoilers* when Akira arrives in the film, it forms the climax of the movie. In the Manga, Akira arrives at the end of the 2nd volume. There are 6 volumes. After he arrives, they are barely a fourth of the way through the story.

On Jul 25, 2009 7:43 AMI don't think All-Star should be considering an Ongoing Series. It's a good book, but don't think it should have been nominated for that award, and definitely shouldn't have one. Isn't there a real ongoing series that deserves the award more?

On Apr 1, 2009 12:00 PMI feel like I do this about once a year. I go to College and I tend to wait until my return home to pick up my books, sometimes it can be months. As I walk around my store finding eveything I;ve missed sometimes I will pick up a book, think about it and say "I really don't care that much" and put it back. I mean when you are picking up 30-40 issues sometimes a bunch...

On Jul 17, 2008 4:51 PMIt looks cool. Part of me is still convinced it will fail at truly adapting comic. It will at least look visually stunning. I bet Alan Moore is not happy, though I doubt he is ever happy with his work being adapted. Oh well, I'll watch the Watchmen.
