Bio: I read a lot of comics. I also try to review all the comics I read. Why should only the good ones get critiques? I try not to put spoilers in, but sometimes I do and forget to label it, so please bear with me.

Perry swings, and though he has the reach and strength behind it, Jonah easily evades him, mostly due to the fact he's insulted so many people he's gotten used to ducking punches from people he's insulted.

 Perry takes a few more swings, and Jonah keeps back up and evading them, still insulting the Planet and White, saying how his grandmother was a better fighter, and she died about the same time that dame reporter Lane slept her way to a pulitzer.

Finally, Jonah has his back to the wall, and he realizes he might be in trouble. Perry smiles, puts the cigar in his mout and swings and... breaks his fist on the wall. He turns around and starts cursing. Never one to not kick someone when they're down, Jonah pulls Perry's vest over his head and goes all Hockey fight on him until he's on the ground.

 Jonah finally backs off and starts walking away and says "If you got yourself down and dirty more often, you might be able to handle yourself better, 'Cheif'"

It's not that I disliked the whole of the art. I loved the montage at the start, but it seemed to me about half way through the book it stopped being as detailed as it was at the beginning and looked kind of glossed over and superficial. That uneven quality really detracted from my enjoyment.

@Urthona

Y'see, it's a matter of personal taste. You say the art was almost worthy of a 5 I chuckle to myself and think of how grainy everything looked and that Stephen looked like he was in his late 50's. And that Doom's mask looked silly and his over all armor lost any sort of looming awesome to it.

 As for Drumm being the handle? Do you often talk tothe spirit of your dead brother? How about practice medicine in a clinic in New Orleans? I don't. Nor do I practice any sort of Voodoon magic. So really, nothing about that was a handle for me. I know he was the main character, but that doesn't mean I give a shit about him.

 Dormammu, who took on Stephen and the strong incarnation of the Defenders, was put down easily in  how many pages?

Yeah I stand by my review

Yay, talking about me

 I like that the replacement slipped in the wrestling terminology.

 I've got an hour and a half lay over in SF Saturday. That has nothing to do with anything, but I felt like sharing.

August 28, 2009 2:40 am I've always wanted to introduce a character with multiple personalities that could shape shift. One of the personalities would be a serial killer, but it would be nigh impossible to prove
August 27, 2009 6:17 pm thanks man. I was worried I was being overly critical
August 27, 2009 9:43 am why are you reading my spoiler filled post if you're that far behind man? let the story go and don't spoil yourself. It is much better taking it as it comes
August 26, 2009 6:07 am I really hated Flannagin's art in the last mini. He drew the beard on Joker's face that looked like pubes
