Verily, the cast of Kenneth Branagh's 'Thor' is coming together!
On Nov 20, 2009 4:00 PM@fnord I think a more interesting casting call is Volstagg being played by an in-shape man (fat suit, maybe?). I'd say that the gods transcend race, and Stringer Bell transcends both... Oh damnit! In the same way as Kodaiji was thinking for Cap, wouldn't Idris Elba be a great Luke Cage? I'm sure he'll be great as Heimdall (his natural accent is very eloquent, which will play well with whatev...

On Nov 14, 2009 7:39 PMNot to pick at a flesh wound, but... " the Paul Rudd/ Jim Curry [sic] thing makes no sense. " Well, even though it totally does, allow me to provide another analogy: Will Ferrel. I loved him in Old School, Ancorman, and Stranger Than Fiction, but things like Bewitched or Land of the Lost I wouldn't be caught watching in a million years. But hey, that could be more on the sh...

On Nov 8, 2009 4:37 PMI didn't listen to the episode yet, but I see mention of the iFanboy Amazon store and just wanted to ask, you can buy anything through it or just the cateogory options (comics, DVDs, music, & video games)? I ordered some clothes for my friend through Amazon (he doesn't have a bank account or something; I don't care either way 'cause he paid my $50 for something I barely had to do any work f...

On Nov 2, 2009 12:36 PMI've been thinking lately, perhaps in part due to the Superhero Costumes video episode , that Wolverine's costume makes absolutely no sense. The mask is the 1st thing, then the yellow, but also, gloves. If you've got claws that rip through your flesh, why would you want a fabric to have to go through, too? And how difficult would it be to have it designed so that the claws always go through ...
