I got this DVD for Christmas!  Actually I bought it for myself before Christmas since the DVD sold out its entire limited print run in less than three weeks, but I didn't open it until Christmas.  I had been wanting to watch this for years and it did not disappoint.  Lots of Disney fans compared it to Disney's Zorro but I too compared it to Batman.  Great minds think alike!

Funny story.  On the making of feature on the DVD, I learned that the famous theme song was performed by George Patterson, who also recorded the Gilligan's Island theme and...was one of my professors in grad school/seminary.  He is now a psychologist and teaches as adjunst faculty at Fuller Seminary to the Marriage and Family Therapy students.  He taught my addiction and therapy class.  And then I saw him on the DVD.

August 1, 2008 2:25 pm After seeing Ron in Whitney's Pop Candy pictures earlier this week and now seeing her in these, I'm weireded out.  My two favorite websites are overlapping.  I feel like George Costanza.  Worlds are colliding!
July 16, 2008 9:38 am The microwave emitter and Rachel Dawes are the two things that bug me most about this movie.  I also still don't particularly care for the overwhelming need to explain how everything Batman uses was built for "real world" stuff.  I hope "The Dark Knight" gets away from that a little.  We get the point now.
July 15, 2008 12:02 pm This seems fitting for the week of Dr. Horrible.  After watching the first act this morning, I think there might can be a case for him to go either way.
February 23, 2008 1:38 am I'm liking the current manner of big action in the main story, and then a backup that focuses on one character.  It provides the best of both worlds in regards to action and characterizations.
February 23, 2008 1:25 am I see it didn't take long for Dixon to bring back the Red Bird.  While I am enjoying the issues so far, I'm not overly excited about Dixon's run.  Since OYL, "Robin" has been at it's best in my opinion.  Finally, Tim Drake (one of my favorite comics characters) was being written by people who actually seemed to understand teenagers a little bit.  Dixon's approach to Tim always seems to come across as a middle aged man trying to think of what makes a teenager cool IN the 1980s.
February 19, 2008 2:25 pm Amateurish and untimely are good descriptions of CSN.  The store I went to in high school always put them in, and I hated it then and threw it out without reading it.  The store I went to in college always had a stack of them by the register and you could take one if you wanted.  My current shop doesn't have them, and I am so thankful for that.  The internet has made "breaking comics news" irrelevant.  If CSN cared about remaining relevant, they could do more in depth features and interviews or some such.  But really, who cares?  Not I.  Take you stand Ron.
February 18, 2008 8:17 pm Just watched it.  Wow, I always love CrazyLex! episodes.  Limited Lana and no ending with Clark and Lana makes for especially good Smallville.  I think the past two seasons with the increased superhero mythology has added so much to this show.  These three episodes have been really good, and now it's not on next week.  Boo!
