Big fan of the Supergirl cover.  I love it minimalistic inking.  Good color pallette too.

Apple's iBookstore Adds Comics, Graphic Novels and Manga

On Mar 11, 2010 3:09 PM

Very exciting.  I don't think this was mentioned before but you could easily subscribe to your favorite books.  Very handy feature.  Now the second issue that would arise after availability from the publishers would have to be price.  I'm not sure it is economically viable for me (after you add in the price of the ipad itself) if the books cost anything over $2.

Gail Simone To Leave WONDER WOMAN

On Mar 5, 2010 5:21 PM

If it's anybody but Rucka and Scott I'd be surprised.  I think Sterling Gates might also have an interesting take on WW.  I enjoyed the Scott and Rucka WW Blackest Night mini.  Imagine how good they'd be if they had time to develop a story....or just time.

On Feb 18, 2010 10:16 AM

Glad to see Johns and Lee being recognized for their awesome contributions to the medium. I'm on record as not being the biggest Didio fan, though I am enjoying most dc books and their direction overall.

RETURN OF BRUCE WAYNE: The Covers

On Feb 15, 2010 6:00 PM

Bat-Beard the pirate walked into a bar with a ship's wheel as a belt buckle.  The bartender said "what's with the belt?"  Bat-Bear replied "Arggghhh!  It's driving me nuts" These look beautiful, but like the return of cap, I still think this series is too soon. If this is 100% better than battle for the cowl, it will be mediocre.  This does remind me a ...

Marvel Comics Expand the ASTONISHING Line of Comics

On Feb 15, 2010 12:20 PM

I agree with Paul.   I'll interject my theory on the Astonishing line anyway.  I think the Astonishing moniker should be reserved for those outside of comics.  Much like the Bill Hader and Seth Myers penned Spider-Man issue or Whedon's epic run.  I am interested in the Spider-Man and Wolverine book, but giving Ellis yet another shot to make Astonishing a top-tier...

Brightest Day Brings Changes For The Green Lantern Books

On Feb 12, 2010 1:19 PM

So let me make sure I understand this correctly, Ganthet's back with the Green Lanterns? As for the books, I'm not sure if I've reached capacity with the lantern universe but this might be pushing it

Paul Dini is having a Cyber Garage Sale!

On Feb 9, 2010 9:00 AM

I wouldn't mind getting my hands on a original cel.  Or a Paul Dini owned Billy the Big Mouth Bass.  That would be sweet.  Then I could say "you know who used to get annoyed by that stupid thing?  Paul Dini.  That's right, the Paul Dini."
