Not to toot my own horn....but I made a superhero fan film called SuperTalk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sT-GPK0oSms or just search Supertalk. It features a bevy of DC and Marvel characters as well as the first superhero appearance (voiceover) of Billy Crudup (Dr. Manhattan in Watchmen)
Ugh. I see where theyr're going, but I think we're seeing the error of trying to salvage the lost part of last season. Too much repetition. Future World is bad, we must save it. Ali Larter struggles with powers, Nathan (who is still married right?) immediately breaks some commandmants.
My wife things this show has jumped the shark, I'm not so sanguine, but I am concerned.
It was brilliant. I thought no one could displace Mark Hamil as the joker, but Heath IS/WAS (sadly) the perfect incarnation. I admit after seeing Gotham Knight I was concerned it would be too grim, but the film manages to keep enough light that it remains a thrilling and even joyful experience.
The scene that stays with me (that doesn't involve the Joker) is the one with Tiny Lister. I know that I shoyldn't have been surprised. However I was. And I was moved as well.
