I saw Love, Actually the first time the other day, at my girlfriends. Its a very good movie. but, my only compliant is that it had a horrible soundtrack!!! the only good music in the movie, besides Bill Nighy hilarious Rod Stewart impersonation, was Otis Redding and The Beach Boys.

Action Comics without superman we'll see how long that lasts and whats with fucking with Grant Morrison's Final Crisis ending!!! with the rumors of Robinson leaving DC whats gonna happen with his Justice League book? All i know is that I'm reeeeaaaaallllly starting to dislike DiDio and how hes handling DC.  

My comics of interest are: Ex Machia(about fucking time!!!), Age of Sentry(probably the most fun I've had reading a marvel book in a long time), Supergirl(I know, I cant believe its this great either) and I might pick up the Waid Amazing Spider-man. His back-up story's were the best part of the "New Ways  to Die" arc. BQ: A Measly Eighteen.  

@conor: Didn't Chabon only write that awesome Mr. Terrific back-up in the equally awesome JSA: All Stars mini? If not I have some comics to buy ASAP!!!

Very good and interesting article conor. I think monthly comics and the mainstream comics industry could survive a move to a somewhat all trade format. What Marvel and DC need to do is take a page from our friends to the east and produce a monthly "Shonen Jump" style comic. DC could publish one 96 or 128 page Superman comic, including ads, on thin pulpy paper at a price of say 8.99...
