I liked the trailer a lot.  It didn't get me hyped like the 300 trailer did, but it convinced me that Watchmen was in good shape.  Dr. Manhattan was perfect and I love the bit with Rorschach at the end.  However, I wonder how they are going to deal with all the background information found outside the comic panels and if they will address it at all in the movie.

Who are the Stone Temple Pilots and I didn't know that Adam Sandler was ever on TV, I thought he only did movies.  Anyway, I have been thinking about picking this book up forever, but I keep on grabbing Invincible and Y: The Last Man and super hero stuff; But the next time I drop by Barnes and Nobles I am definately getting vol 1.

I think the character, like most of DC's sidekicks/teen heroes, is a good idea.  A teenage girl version of the man of steel sounds interesting but the personal stuff and the hero stuff has to work together.  People that are just icons without personalities are boring and stale.  I think I would read this title if Peter David was on it based on his work with Friendly Neighborhood...
