Baltimore Comic-Con: We Are Con People

On Oct 3, 2008 6:38 PM

That was a great article. I'd really like to make it to Baltimore next year for the Con's 10th b-day. AND I wouldn't know what to expect if the Phoenix Force infiltrated the GL Corp. Wide-spread panic and cool new X-Men uniforms?

New comics for 09/24/08 say so long summer! Finally.

On Sep 22, 2008 6:00 PM

Just Powers for me. I've fallen behind with New Avengers, Cap, and Fantastic Four, so I'm sitting those three out. BQ: no. heroes runs opposite The Sarah Connor Chronicles (i think this is only the case in alaska), and I really liked the last two episodes with the glitchy terminator bodyguard.

Still much too excited about the Dark Knight

On Aug 22, 2008 9:00 AM

cool column, sonia. it sorta felt like a therapy session. i'm still x-cited about dark knight, too. i think the sequel will feature the riddler, because during the dark knight's intro when the dc logo flashed up on the screen, there was a picture of the riddler from the cover of jim lee's last issue of hush.

iFanboy - Episode #80 - Alex Robinson

On Jul 23, 2008 6:27 PM

This week I read "Tricked." I loved it. Alex is a skilled cartoonist. His page designs really dazzled me, especially in the book's conclusion. Transcendental! Great interview, Josh.

Super Villains - Pure Evil or Purely Misunderstood

On Jul 15, 2008 9:08 AM

Hey guys. . . Neil Patrick Harris stars as the super villain Dr. Horrible in Joss Wedon's "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog." He's a diabolical inventor who's working on a freeze ray in a "Flight Of The Conchords" meets "The Incredibles" kind of crazy, mixed-up world.  I loved it! It's currently on iTunes.

The DC Comics Absolute Quandry - Top 5 Stories That Should Be Absolutes

On Jul 2, 2008 9:07 AM

In one of your Saturday video shows, Conor mentioned he thought an Absolute Top Ten book would be lovely. That series is too quirky to be denied. Maybe From Hell could be absoluticated, because Alan Moore's work is just too mesmerizing for paltry paperbacks. Over the weekend I bought The New Adventures of The Spirit comic he did with David Gibbons in 1997. After reading Moore's adaptations on...

The iFanboy Letter Column - 06/20/08

On Jun 20, 2008 12:00 PM

@Dan . . . I think Mark Wahlberg would rock as Captain America! My dream for The Avengers is to see it directed by Peter Jackson, not just because he's a slave to the source material, but because he can envision something appropriately titanic. I want to see Thor cutting a swath through dozens of Kree soldiers, like Sauron did! By the Crimson Bands of Cryotak! IMDb lists Guillermo del To...
