Great article and good read.  A few questions... Do you think that in this time of economic trouble comics could increase their market share by Staying the "Cheap form" of entertainment? With movies as up to 12 bucks for two hours (and an arm and a leg for popcorn), if comics really pushed at being "cheap fun" could that be a winning strategy for this economic climat...

I wasn't sure I was gonna pull this until someone mentioned Enter the Mandrin. Then I realized it was the same Canete that I've been oggling over at his blog (http://kahnehteh.blogspot.com/).
