@stu I think the main thing the fake team had going for it was rick grimes. I didn't care too much about the fake team.

But it's hard to get excited about an image-verse team book like you do about a marvel team book, since you pretty much see everyone together in invincible. But then again they might surprise us. 

Are there any image-verse characters that we'd actually be suprised and excited to see?

March 17, 2010 11:37 pm I picked this up on a whim. Hey let's see what's going on with spider-man. Pick of the Week. This was just a regular issue but somehow it felt bigger than Siege.

March 17, 2010 2:09 pm This could be regular continuity Rick, and Walking Dead Rick could be Rick MAX. Let's see it happen. I'd love to see the tension between Rick and Astounding Wolfman.

March 12, 2010 2:29 pm I think if this book lives up to the title it could be good. These characters don't seem super compelling as a teen team, and I was never much for most teen teams. But if this book is sort of like Harry Potter but with the Avengers instead of wizards...

March 10, 2010 1:33 pm My hope for this series is that it will have a legion of super heroes/old school x-men/x-men first class vibe. But with distinctly Avengers flavor. I think you could make that good. You don't even need characters with powers that aren't weird and lame if you go in that direction.

March 9, 2010 11:16 pm What baffles me is how any of the parties involved could just give up on a project of such quality. You have a chance to make a complete, awesome story with incredible art, and you just leave unfinished 4 issues shy of the end. It makes me want to scream.

February 9, 2010 4:44 pm I thought the last issue went overboard on the fucked up side and it stopped being interesting. I want good, extremely hard boiled noir. I don't want Ennis fanfic. What I'm saying is, I want this to be fucked up in the right way.
