@Jimski That bit about the climax of the movie was EXACTLY my take on it. After what seems like the climax, it just keeps building and continues to impress. Astounding.

As for Gordans critic/reviewer distinction, I think he is absolutely right and I want to clear up one fact: I isnt the extent of knowledge that divides the reviewer from the critic, it is the ATTITUDE towards the work being judge. It is not any more ridiculous than any of the other films. And it doesn't even touch how bad Temple of Doom was. Great movie, I enjoyed as much as I enjoy Raiders and Last Crusade.  The thing I have to wonder is what was the point of the cgi gophers or whatever in the begining?

If its a nice day out, I walk the 4 miles to get to my comic shop. If my friends are there, i bum a ride back, but I've made the round trip walking plenty of times as well.

Meltzer's JLA was fantastic. Even Meltzer's issues of the Lightning Saga were the good ones. I'm suprised this was pick of the week, but it was even more surprising that the issue was much better than the book has been since issue 12.  I'm glad.  I agree that editorial directives seem to be the issue with JLA; DC really need to just let a really good writer loose with the book. ...
