Something I noticed after watching this weeks episode.  Papa Patrelli told Sylar that he would be able to absorb people's powers without killing them because he was empathic.  Remembering back to the first season when Peter was "training" with the Invisible Man Claude...he was able to call upon the powers he absorbed by remembering those people and what he felt like whenev...

I enjoyed this episode and, like Conor pointed out, I am glad they took the time to streamline the plot and pull it all back into a more focused story.  I think they will benefit from that.  They introduced some good premises in my opinion as well.  Was it Sylar who eased Peter's fall so that he didn't die or is Peter got something else "special" about him? Am I the only one who liked the little tussle between Sylar and Peter.  I know it didn't last very long and I suppose it was nothing we haven't seen before but it added a little excitement & action.  I, too, think this episode was the best this season so far.  While it was not perfect it did most everything right.  And for me there were several things I didn't see com...

Who else watched the special before the show?  There is nothing like shamelessly pointing out all of the Star Trek references in the show just to promote the new Star Trek movie which happens to star Sylar Spock.  How convienent.  But having said that...I enjoyed the first two episodes.  I agree with some of the criticsims on here but overall think it is off to a better ...

If you like these types of topics concerning multi-verse, string theory, etc...another really good person to check out is the theoretical physict Dr. Michio Kaku.  He has written several books and has been interviewed and hosted many tv shows about the topics as well.

@Kory - I don't think Jimski is being defensive because of a supposed flaw with Marvel.  I believe the point he was trying to make is that it was nice to not to have the discussion about comparing the event book of one company to the even book of another company, the competitor.  After all...why does it have to be that one book "owns" another.  They are only in compe...

I can remember getting to this point at a few different points of my life when I used to read issues.  Now that I have switched to reading everything in trades only it is not quite so bad.  I am usually able to feel out through feedback and a little research how much I will probably like a title before checking it out.  And it also helps me to know overall where the story may go...

"Love Conquers All" lol.  Thanks for the link to Robotic Fish Tales and also this great article about comics in their simples and purest forms.  Reading stories like this however makes me wish I had a comic shop at all.  Living in a town without one makes me cherish the time I spend in them even more though when I do find one to visit.  Thank goodness for things...
