Just got back and man was this an improvement on the first one.  The Hulk actually felt like a character in this one instead of just a CGI creation.

The problem that I see with Ennis is that although he may be brilliant at characterization, this gets completely overshadowed by the shock factor that he puts into every book.  His use of shocky material is so omnipresent that it completely overshadows what could otherwise be a really good series like Preacher.  Do you really need a guy with an Arseface, a guy with a dick for a head ...

Looking forward to Cap and X-Factor.  That's about it.   BQ:  Used to routinely go five days without sleep during summer camp as a kid.  If you actually fell asleep, there was no telling what would happen to you. 

I'm actually reading the Miller DD Omnibus right now and it is truly an incredible read and like Ron, even though I own all of the issues of the Bendis DD Omnibus, I'm considering buying it simply because I'm working on replacing series that I want to reread with trades in an effort to cut down on the boxes.

Great pick Gordon.  I picked this book up last year at WWC and it's really a good read.

Gotta say, this pick surprised me.  I read the book with great anticipation and for me that was far as it went.  The art was fantastic but that's the only saving grace of this book for me.  I'm not sure if I'm on board for the rest of this mini or not.  Josh, your pick made me go back through it one more time and even the ending left me cold on this one.  BKV is usually...
