I agree with Ron and moron.  It started to flounder by issue 12 (so much so that I was about one issue away from dropping it), but 13 was really, really, really good, and easily the best issue of the series.  I hope there's more like 13 coming.

So, um...Kevin Maguire...Maybe this is just me, but Batgirl and Catwoman's faces looked like overweight, last call bar floozies with a slight case of down syndrome (no offense to bar floozies).  Expressive, sure.  Attractive?  Noooooooooo sir.

I must've seen about 20 Viagra commercials during BSG.  What are you trying to tell me, Space Channel?

Big ol' week for me.  Most excited for Batman and Transhuman. There's a lot of #1's this week, and in really interested in Captian Britain and MI 13, GeNext, Guardians of the Galaxy, Huntress Year One, Secret Invasion FF, and Sky Doll. Might drop Last Defenders if I don't start getting interested. Might get a couple TPBs: Joker's Last Laugh and Green Lantern No Fear. BQ: I did not.

Someone turned the jadedness to 11 this week.  I'm a continuity whore too, but I read the "6 months ago" box and had no problems with Layla.  I also had no problems with Fury's new Howling Commandos, because it seems like all of the main heroes are either stuck in the Savage Land, stuck in the Negative Zone, incapacited in some other way, or are Skrulls.  So the ones w...

Great show.  Infinity Gauntlet #3 was one of the first comics I bought, and it blew my mind. I feel, however, that I must point out that Ron used the word "underrated". =P

I Wikipedia'd Black Hand, and he was an old Green Lantern monthly villian, who had his hand burnt off by the Spectre.  And in the Blackest Night teaser poster, the Black Ring symbol is the symbol on the Black Hand's chest.
