On Nov 4, 2009 7:59 PM

Thanks for posting this i heard from my local npr station here in San Diego tonight that he passed. All comic fans own him a great debt. I cant imagine what my comic experience would have been or even if it had been if not for SDCC.

Great Moments in Comics History: Astonishing Tales featuring Ka-Zar and Dr. Doom #2

On Oct 23, 2009 9:00 AM

Doom must be afraid of success if he purposely programs androids that "will" turn on him. otherwise why would it for certain turn on him, i mean Reed cant just be skulking around Castle Doom just to screw with Doom as soon as Doom turns his back.

Wanted: Comic Book Stylists

On Oct 14, 2009 12:00 PM

I agree with you that Alan Davis's clothing choices do need a bit of an update, But have you checked out his work on Clan Destine? There are some good examples of normal clothing, and of course there are outfits that have starched colars that seem to stand up so straight they might have a mind of thier own. Great Article, i always enjoy it when some one brings a new take to view comics that i ...

As to the Hulk family being redneck, Its explained in the book, that quite frankly was rather disturbing but made sense. *SPOILER* Banner tells Logan the only way t...

09.23.2009 - Fantastic Four #571

On Sep 24, 2009 3:18 AM

A very astute review, i thoroughly enjoyed this book, one scene that really struck me was the the conversation between Sue and Reed. Where Reed begins to sound like a pompous ass then turns it around on a dime into in his nerdy science way is romantic and shows his love for his wife. I began reading FF regularly during Civ war and had not been very impressed by it, but i'm so glad now that i ha...

Can Someone Just Stay Dead?

On Sep 2, 2009 12:00 PM

I agree with you Mike that while they may come back, they come back far too soon. It seems that things like the unmasking of spider-man or the death of a character offer up a gold mine of stories that go mainly untapped. I like the idea that these characters and the universe change, but when all you have is change you seem to lose a little of what makes that character mean something. When it co...

You guys have definitly earn it. Have you thought about "re-running old episodes" I know the show about Sketches really improved my con experience and I think it would be great for others that havent seen it. Granted they could always go back into the archieves and watch them.

Great Moments in Comics History: Batman #4

Note that Robin is asking if he was strong. This could mean Robin believes himself to be a pantywaist and he has no ability to judge physical strength.
