Yay Issues! This book rocks. And I probably never would have picked it up had I not heard about it here.

At first glance I don't really like Tony Moore's art. But it grows in me. I'll have to pick up the trades on this one. But I won't read in issues. Ads are a deal-breaker for any issues.

I'm all for a new creator exodus. I don't read any titles from the big 2 regulary anyway. That's not meant to sound elitist. It's just a preference.

I've never heard of "Seven Sons" but I'm totally sold on the concept. The fabled Seven Chinese Brothers in the American West? Awesome concept.

Read less, enjoy more?

On Aug 13, 2008 12:00 PM

I read more comics than I've ever have, and am enjoying them more than ever. I just cut out anything with bad art or bad stories, which is surprisingly hard for many comic fans. Brand loyalty is what's killing comics. If book is bad on whatever standard one has, then just drop it.
