7 Things I Hope You Learn From Comics

On Nov 24, 2008 11:30 AM

Sentimental and funny.  Very good.  You've captured a lot of experiences that I've come across with my own little guy.  If mine does go evil, I just hope he realizes that he doesn't have to go all oedipal on me to get at my comic collection.  I can't wait until he's old enough to share it with me!

The iFanboy Letter Column - 11/21/08!

On Nov 21, 2008 4:00 PM

Wolverine is definitely into Bud the Spud... From the Big Red Mud.  No, sadly, I wish he was, but Stompin Tom doesn't fit into Wolverine's time line.  During his hayday, Woverine would have been deep into the Weapon X program, and probably not allowed to listen to the radio very much.  Backwood twangin tunes might be up his alley.  For those of you saying who the ...

Smallville - S08E10 - Bride

On Nov 20, 2008 7:00 PM

@jonjonz - I agree.  The death of Superman does next to nothing for me emotionally.  It always just felt like an event with no soul.  As kitschy as this series is, it has heart.  If Clark 'dies' tonight (Doomsday = dead Superman, right?) then I'm gonna feel more then I did from reading the original story.

Action Comics: Now with NO Superman!

On Nov 18, 2008 10:44 AM

I understand Tiki saying take a deep breath, but, this situation seems to speak to a deep pent-up fear that many fans have about DiDio.  It's like they've all been waiting for him to screw up and now they're taking this as a sign.  The torches have been soaked in pitch and the pitchforks sharpened.  All they needed was the spark to be struck.  This looks less like a spark an...

For The Love of Hardcovers

On Nov 18, 2008 1:27 AM

On the issue of size - The Walking Dead hardcovers are beautiful.  You're getting a larger page then the normal paperback trades, which also seems to often be one of the sellling points (at least for me).  The Walking Dead are just about perfectly sized.  Sinestro War was dissapointly small.  Some of those splash pages deserve to be seen in a larger version.  On t...

1,000,000 downloads (and counting)!

On Nov 16, 2008 3:37 PM

Congratulations!  It speaks to the fact that you are putting out a great product that's gotten better and better with time.    Out of curiosity - What kind of weight does 1 million downloads give you in advertising circles?  That's gotta count for something doesn't it?

Heroes - S03E08 - Villains

On Nov 10, 2008 8:00 PM

Is it just me, or are there actual retcons occuring?  Like, the scene in the hospital didn't play out that way did it?  If so, then why the need to go and revisit it?  Will we actually be touching on that storyline again?  Or, maybe due to the constant time travelling, we'll be seeing the timeline of season 1 and 2 change?

New Comics for 11/12/08 will not be played by Megan Fox in the upcoming movie

On Nov 10, 2008 5:17 PM

@ The Next Champion - A punch to the nuts is only allowed if you're about to have your face stomped.  BQ - Now, you can, however, deliver a bag tag to a buddy who's talking smack like that, followed up by the words "don't be such a douche".  Especially if you live in a Frat.   Oh, and books.  JSA special is exciting!  So is Batman double size!&n...
