  My kids, wife and I have watched all the Timm-stuff. We enjoyed this one a lot, probably as much as we've enjoyed any of the recent ones. It was good for the reason that (as Paul mentioned) JLU was good, for the relationships between the characters. It was also great to hear Conroy again after the debacle (and the whole movie was terrible) that was Gothan Knight.

Great pick, although there were some awesome other choices like Nova and the Amazing, ASM. There were times reading Detective that I had a feeling similar to the first time I read Dark Knight or Kingdom Come.

To be fair JLU starts off pretty clunky, but ends up matching the excellence of JL, especially after McDuffie fully takes charge.

That movie was a disaster. Frank is great at setting a shot up, but he makes George Lucas look like an Actor's Director.    I felt like I was watching an R Rated episode of the Adam West Batman show.

Dwayne is the man and always will be. He's doing the new Ben Ten show on CN now. However Mighty Avengers was breathtaking and explosive even when it was completly silent.
