I was fairly worried about this book, after the first arch ended and they went to Russia. I felt like dropping the book, but I figured I'd wait it out. I have to say, I think this book is getting back on track and I'm glad I'm reading it again. You get some touching moments in this book, and much like in preacher, Ennis is starting to make me care about these characters. There is not a lot of action in this one, but it was a pretty solid read and is clearly a filler issue building towards something bigger.
The one thing the has generally bugged me about the boys (other then the fact that it feels like every issue should have a big scary confrontation in it but doesn't and just builds up tension and danger, which I guess would not be so bad if I was reading in trade) is Darick Robertson. I am not really wild about his art, and I think all of his women look alien and.....wrong. Having said that I think the art in this issue was solid, and with the exception of a few panels both The Female and uh.......the blond super chick looked cute and human.
Over all I wouldn't say this is a must read, but I am enjoying it. I have no doubt that this book will blow up soon, but then again I've been fooled before

I think generally it looks good, i just think most of his women look bad. His men and layouts are, for the most part, fine.

I would be very interested in learning more about this team. Aside from that, I've really enjoyed this series a whole hell of a lot.
