Star Wars Legacy #38

About 6 months/issues ago the overarching storyline (that began in issue #1) concluded. Since then this book has meandered a bit. The current arc (Tatooine) feels like a return to the quality of that first massive arc. The lead character Cade Skywalker (picture an overwhelmingly apathetic Luke Skywalker) and his crew of pirates have been stealing from the Empire and the Star Wars equivalent of the mob (Black Sun). These organizations have sent bounty hunters and governmet agents after Cade and his crew.

This issue has a touch of espionage, a hint of lovable rogue, and a smidge of that Star Wars magic. It also contains my favorite nonWookie Star Wars aliens, the Anzati, who are essentially vampires that feed on luck (they call it soup).

I enjoyed this issue and hope the arc continues at this quality level.
