Secret Invasion #8 (OF 8)

The more I think about this series the more I find I really enjoyed it. Ok I think we are all sick of event leading into event but Dark Reign does look like it could be an interesting time.

Bendis has been leading into this from the beginning of his Disassembled storyline and I find that impresive, only Johns is matching this layered story telling. Thinking back to the poor Avengers stories we had to put up with pre Busiek/Perez we should perhaps find ourselves lucky to be around this prolonged return to form for the Avengers books.

Perhaps eight issues was a tad too long but overall I think Secret Invasion stands up as an enjoyable read for Avengers fans with excellent art from Yu & Morales. Looking forward to Dark Avengers.
