Although this issue is titled as Crown Heights Epilogue, it also acts as a prologue for the War Of The Witchblades beginning next month. A fatal accident as a result of Dani's good faith leads to a confrontation between the two Witchblade bearers whilst a mysterious figure watches from the shadows.
Ron Marz's writing has been leading up to this point for several months now. A nice touch is the catch-up page recounting Dani and Sara's relationship so far, making this a great issue for new readers to jump on before the War starts.
Stjepan Selic's art is outstanding as always, particularly during the atmospheric rain-soaked, rooftop scenes.
