3 issues into her solo series and Cyblade/Dominique still doesn't know who to trust!
Along with her new handler Jocelyn, she's been sent by Cyberdata to find and kill her previous handler, Rashell, who is working for the resistance. To make matters worse, Dominique has recently unlocked memories of Jocelyn, including the fact that she may be involved in the 'accidental' death of Dominique's father. Then there's McNally, the leader of the resistance and former employee of Cyberdata, who may or may not be trustworthy!
This well-written series reads more like a spy thriller than your standard superhero tale, and as the story pre-dates Cyberforce, there is no need to be familiar with any previous stories/characters.
Lee Ferguson takes over art duties from Rick Mays but their styles are so similar that it is hardly noticeable. His work is bold and clear and fits the mood well whilst managing, in the most part, to avoid lingering close-ups of Dominique's outfit!
