I think this series has gone downhill since issue one.  While the world they're creating is great, I think the character development leaves a lot to be desired.  All I know about Tony is that he eats things and sees visions.  All I know about his possibly Scottish partner is that he is enormous when drawn next to Tony.  And I keep seeing this labeled as the "first story arc," but it feels more like a series of vignettes.

Great points. This issue left me a little unfufilled as well. I was hoping for more after the first 3 great issues. It definitely does not seem like a coherent arc. Hopefully issue 5 brings it together.
