Nightwing #152

Well there isn't too much to brag about in this month's issue of Nightwing.  It starts out just like the last issue of Batman I read, with Dick Grayson standing around sobbing, either for the death of a father figure, or just because he can't live up to all the hype that was once Batman.  All of a sudded Ra's Al Ghul's ninja soldiers jump down from up top of the batcave in an attempt to kidnap Dick and safely bring him to Ra's for a little mid-afternoon chit chat.  Instead, Dick beats most of their ass'es and runs down a couple with the classic Batmobile from the 1960s TV series, that part was pretty cool.  He gets ahold of Ra's via one of his ninja buddie's walkie talkie things, and after a little hesitiation, agrees to have a meeting with him halfway across the world in some secluded desert.  He gets there, Ra's blabbers in Dick's ear about how he feels unjust about "the detective" being killed by anybody other then Ra's, and they both decide to have a little sword fight to blow off a little steam.  They fight their way back outside and Dick Grayson bounces on out of there in the Batplane not before Ra's tells him to keep the sword as a sovenir of what is yet to come.  Dick tells Ra's that he doesn't want the sword, but it shows him holding it at the end of the issue when Dick is back at the Batcave which is now nothing but yet another "black hole" to him.  BLAH BLAH BLAH, what is this supposed to be poetry or something.  Well at least this issue confirms that Bruce Wayne is now among the deceased for those of you who don't want to waste $3.99 (plus tax if you live in NJ, ughhh) on that waste of extra glossy paper they are calling Final Crisis.  A matter of fact, you can just take my copy if you really want one. I got the one with Batman on the cover, and let me tell you, the cover is the only good thing about it.
