Uncanny X-Men #516

Greg Land must have some awesome pics of Joe Q because I can find no other explanation for why he still has a job. The art in this book was terrible. There are scenes where the art shows people to be shouting but it doesn't come across in the words. What should be a subtle "Stand Down" from Scott gets turned into a "Stand the fuck down motherfucker" by this art. I don't know, it's just bad. As for the writing, well it isn't the best issue of Uncanny I've read this year. There's some confusing scene jumps and the dynamic between Charles and Magneto feels totally unrealistic for the way these two characters left off in Legacy. If the art had been better maybe I would have given the book more slack but the art sucked so there you go.
