this mini series goes out in style with yet another great character study of tim and dick. the scenes with tims dead dad reenacting his final hours of life was one of the scariest scenes i've read in a long time. tim and dick both knowing logically that these creatures arnt the real thing but this time unable to keep their emotions under control when confronted by them was yet another way to set them apart from bruce. dick calling for robin and dameion asking "which one" was good comic relief and something ive thought about myself. the ending was interesting in that they had now way to beat them so that was the only option left. of course deadman and etrigan where great additons to this. the 2nd issue of this series i think was very good because of the very little use of deadman, which im not very familair with him or etrigan but used as support characters they really shine. all in all a great mini short and sweet with good art it kept me wanting more.
