Loved, loved, loved this book! Mitch Breitweiser is just fantastic on the first story. I love how he captures that 1940's era feel without making the story feel dated. I didn't know that Roy Thomas was still writing, and when I saw it I figured it was going to be kind of a throw back. But this was a fun story. Namor has a real dynamism in this. The second story definitely did have a bit of a retro feel to it, but it was enjoyable. And the third story reprint was a fascinating look at Namor's first appearance. As dated as it looks, it's interesting that he's portrayed not as evil per se, but somewhat naively menacing. It's almost... nuanced? A great read.
