JR Jr is one of those rare talents whose art has seamlessly made the transition to modern print production style. But his old work on Spider-man in the 80's is also really, really good. And I wonder what his X-Men run would have looked like if Klaus Janson was inking.

I liked how Spidy kept talking to Eddie like he was a psychotic child and directing him towards Venom when he'd start to get confused again. JRJR is such a fantastic artist, it seems like the last few years have just upped his style to a whole new level.
