After I bought this book, I remembered that I was going to drop it last month, and only got it because Hal Jordan was in it, and I'll read anything with Ollie & Hal together.

This book just feels kind of inconsequential.  I don't hate anything about it -- and I like [spoiler character] who showed up, but if this is just going to turn into random-madcap-adventures, I'm not so interested anymore.

Until Green Lantern shows up again, anyway.

Well, if you're dropping it after 8 issues, that's about 4 more issues than I gave it. Inconsequential is a good word for what I read of this, and judging by your review, I didn't make a mistake jumping off it early.

I do think it's lost it's way, agreed there.  Also the new Gambit character is too much in the vien of, well Gambit, and the general DC jokey man of action supporting character that seems to be popping up in every book.  How he's any different from Nemisis in Wonder Woman I'm not sure, other than he's English and Gambit.
