Well my little experiment in Ultimate X-Men is now over. I'm really disappointed with this arc overall. Apocalypse is one of my all time favorite villains and this was a poor execution of him. Also I really didn't like how this issue pulled a deus ex machina in the end.
This book really seemed like it was lacking on the story. This issue did do something that from what I understand was needed for this book, a reboot. It's really sad though that this book hasn't even reached issue 100 yet and already needs a reboot. It is nice though to see a reboot happen in a book and not have it take 6, 8, or 12 issues. I like to think that Kirkman knew that he didn't need to waste a bunch of time on it. It's about the only thing that I can say that was good about his writing on this book, which is horrible because I normally love Kirkman's stuff.
Overall this book was disappointing, even the art work that I have enjoyed that last few issues just did not feel as good as the rest. I'm going back to only reading Ultimate Spider-Man and Captain America from Marvel. It seems like whenever I stray too far from those two books I just end up reading something that's just crap.

I apologize if I mislead you Civil War is the reason I don't read Marvel anymore. I used to be a Marvel Whore untill that piece of Trash came out. Not too mention the travesty that is Spiderman right now.

dont turn your back on marvel based on THIS book, in you like Cap, try daredevil. It's pretty amazing.
