Agreed.
I'm a big fan of Renee, and also of 'the Question' and this issue felt like the place where the two concepts finally came together. I could imagine Vic/Charlie watching over this scene and smiling.
I actually just pulled out issue 2 of the O'Neil/Cowans series and laid a random page of Crime Bible 5 over a random page of that one. Garcia isn't exactly pastiching Denys Cowans -- he has his own thing going -- but he's definitely studied these old issues. The scenes with the rain, particularly, and something about the way he draws people in motion.

I agree Josh, this was a great issue, Rucka's blog has confirmed that he's picking up where CB left off in some other form so no worries there.
I was also really impressed with the art in this issue, I hated Garcia's work on Countdown, but the stuff in this issue was really great, there were some pages that I wouldn't mind buying even.
