I agree, I thought this was very much like Smallville when the show was good.

Haha. I kept thinking about the similarities between this and Smallville ... and still, this comic was so excellent. I can't believe it hadn't been done - but of course, why wouldn't Clark be upset about learning this? He's always portrayed as so stoic, but if you learn you're an alien after years of a happy life with such loving parents, you're going to be a bit unsettled. Geoff Johns can do no wrong.
