Ben Templesmith can do vampires. We all know that. So what's the next logical step after vampires? Why, Werewolves of course. But Mr. Templesmith isn't just a re-hasher. These aren't your Michael J. Fox kind of werewolves. These things are scary, just by the way they're drawn. They look to me like some kind of dinosaur/wolf mixture. And, c'mon, that's just scary. But werewolves can't just walk around in the open, what with the guns we have and all. So what's a werewolf to do when he's hungry. They feed on the people that society doesn't want and have forgotten about. Mentally deranged killers and rapists (most of whom don't seem too mentally unstable anyway). Nobody cares about them. Well, almost nobody. So who's gonna stop them? Why, Cronos, god, and the new lord of creation, that's who.
...and that's why I love this book (so far).
