There were probably hundreds of clues, but I never guessed that X was Tamox and Xamot. Perhaps that is because those characters were jokes in the old G.I. Joe world.
No longer. They are truly frightening characters here. And appropriately so. The financiers and business suits should be the most frightening and ruthless of the bad guys.
My only complaint is that despite reading all three G.I. Joe books, I have no clear sense as to where these titles are going. Both Cobra and Origins are mini-series that end soon, correct? Yet they are the ones that I've enjoyed most. What is the future for the G.I. Joe titles at IDW?
That said, this is a great series that stands on its on. Really good stuff.

I believe that Origins has been extended to an ongoing series. The Cobra book appears that it will continue with one-shots and specials after this. The regular Joe title is an ongoing and in my opinion is the weakest thus far.
