There are 3 things in comics that almost always attract my attention and cause me to at least flip through a book on the racks whether I know anything about the title or not. 1. Zombies/horror 2. Carnival sideshows/freaks 3. Religion/God vs. Satan. This title has the latter two elements in that the story revolves around the cancelled apocalypse between Heaven and Hell and the unlikely carney savior of the world. This issue was 32 PAGES, NO ADS for 2.99 with funny and intriguing writing from Phil Hester and beautiful art by Brook Tuner that caught my attention on the first page with a cigarette smoking Ron Jeremy look-a-like dressed as and claiming to be Satan.
