This issue may be the first one not tied to a crossover since the premier of the series. DnA prove here that it can thrive when not dealing with outside events and tells its own story. This arc has an interesting premise: Galactus has come to a world to feed, and instead of stopping him Nova tries to evacuate as many people as he can. The situation is compounded by a meddling government and a disembodied serial killer that possesses random people. This issue provides a situation where Nova cannot win, and shows how he deals with it. A great start that provides a cliffhanger that makes the situation even more chaotic.
The art is another great turnout for the series. Alves captures Nova's determination and the horror of the killers actions wonderfully. This is a solid issue and a great start of a new arc.
