The second issue of this series continues to weave the different threads together, and we begin to see how they will come together. the way Bizarro is treated in this issue is genius, starlin has a great understanding of the character. Those stuck with him have learned how to manipulate him so he doesn't attack. Also, the popularity of the Lady Stix cult is shown, and how it even drives Sardath. The Comet scenes are great also, and its neat to see his personality develop as one who doesn't want to be a hero, but still gets sucked into the conflict. Lim's art is good, and makes each different story thread look and feel differnet from the others. This series gives me hope that a satisfying end to the Rann-Thanager war could be achieved through this story.
