This issue had a very unique premise. Deadman having to possess Green Arrow to keep evil spirits from possessing him is a situation Ollie has probably never been in before. That is the main strength of this series, that it can use unique team-ups to show new takes on these iconic characters. The story was entertaining, nothing ground-breaking but the uniqueness of it made it interesting. The ending was weird, and seemed way out of character for Ollie, but I have faith that it will be explained in upcoming issues.
I was not a major fan with the art. Kolins style here was too sketchy for me. Green Arrow was the main one that I noticed this on. His face seemed to be drawn very quickly. The supernatural parts of the issue were fine, it was the regular people that threw me off.
While I found the art to be lacking, this was a fun issue that kicked off a new arc. While not a must read, it was entertaining, and recommended to anyone looking for an unusual Green Arrow story not heavily dependent on modern continuity.
